Instructions
- Cook 5 pieces of bacon in the oven at 400°F for 12 to 15 minutes:
- Actually, don't pay attention to me — read the instructions on the back of the bacon package and do that instead.
- When it's done, leave the oven on so it's ready for the pizza.
- Turn it to 400°F if the bacon instructions said a different temp.
- *Note: If you don't like bacon… weird, right??? You can skip the steps above, but at least turn on the oven, OK?
- While the bacon is cooking, cook up a cup or so of hash browns, and scramble up 4 eggs:
- Best to let them cool a bit after cooking so they don't melt the cream cheese.
- Chop up or find your veggies (see below):
- Get out your other meats, etc.
- Spread cream cheese on a pre-made pizza crust to taste:
- I use Boboli or the Hy-Vee thin crusts.
- You can even try flavored cream cheese — I'd stay away from chocolate, but to each their own.
- Evenly spread the hash browns over the cream cheese.
- Spoon and spread the eggs over the hash browns.
- Crumble up the bacon all over the eggs:
- Add sausage crumbles and/or small bits of chopped ham if you like.
- Any other meat you like — go for it!
- No meat? Sure… if you must.
- Put on some veggies:
- Onion
- Peppers
- Tomatoes
- Mushrooms
- Go nuts… it's your breakfast.
- OK, OK… nuts are bad — don't put them on a breakfast pizza, OK?
- Sprinkle the whole pizza with cheddar and/or mozzarella cheese:
- You gotta hold all that stuff together, right?
- Stick the pizza in the oven (you left it on, right? Gah, some people).
- Set the timer for 10 minutes.
- When the 10 minutes are up, try not to eat the whole thing.
